Dr. Beant Singh, Principal Guru Nanak Institute of Technology is among the leading Educational reformers who have given a new direction to the teaching methodology practiced across the region. He has worked in various roles and introduced innovative teaching methodology for the holistic development of students. Dr. Beant Singh is having over 36 years of experience in teaching and Industry. He has a number of National /International publications to his credit & authored many famous text books. His research papers have been published in various national and international journals under his effective leadership GNIT has already carved a niche for itself in a period of just 5 years. He has guided 03 Ph.D. Students.

Dr. Beant Singh is a person with vision and dynamism. He is not only a real technocrat & true academician but having sensitivity towards social responsibilities. With his dynamic leadership he wants the institute to excel in the field of education as well as emerge as a corporate hub. Soon after taking over as the Principal of GNIT various innovative programmes were launched and initiatives were taken to develop GNIT as centre of excellence for higher technical education in the region. Under his visionary approach the institute has emerged as an infrastructural hub as well as is ready to expand educational frontiers in various emerging technologies. His vision is to develop technology orientation and analytical capabilities of every student & develop entrepreneurial skills in students so that they would be able to drive the spirit of growth of our economy and would be able to generate employment opportunities for other qualified and skilled people. GNIT under the effective leadership of Dr. Beant Singh is committed to improve “core competence”, “communication skills” and “ethical mindset” of the students and make them the most sought after technocrats who would significantly contribute to the evolution of such knowledge based society in our country.
