B.TECH - Computer Science and Engineering

About the Course

Computer Science is the study of information and computation along with their implementation and application in computer systems. CSE offers a satisfying and rewarding career and remains one of the most popular streams. The Department of CSE is not only grooming professionals, who will carve a niche for themselves in this field in India and abroad but also exposes learners to the latest trends in technology industry and research.

The curriculum is designed to train the students in developing application programs (Software) and also designing and developing computing systems (Hardware). The young learners are actively involved in developing software and participate in various sporting events at university level and state level with equal enthusiasm.

Computer Lab

The Department has well maintained air conditioned Software Labs powered by Dell and HP systems of latest configuration and 24 hours internet facility. Internet and laboratory facilities are available for staff and students round- the- clock.

All the Labs of the department are well equipped with many modern facilities/utilities. Moreover, the department has its own Local Area Network. This LAN currently supports Linux and Windows Server, all are inter-net-worked through switches and around 150 nodes are connected to the above servers. The high-speed Internet connectivity provides extended access to the vast intellectual resources. Students are provided training on Internet and Web Management and are assigned individual email-ids.

B.TECH - Electronics and Communication Engineering

About the Course

Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the fastest growing streams of engineering which has spread its wings in almost all other fields of technology. It is the study of transmitting, processing and receiving of Information through electronic devices. It concerns the use of scientific knowledge of the behaviour of electrons to develop components, devices, systems, equipments and Electronic products ranging from the simple radio receivers to advance music systems, televisions, computers, mobile phones, electronically controlled radio toys, several systems of automobiles, aircraft, etc. The department of ECE aims at imparting up-to-date technical skills in the areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering along with developing skills and capabilities of the students to be utilized in industry, research centers and entrepreneurship.

An Electronics & Communication Engineer (ECE) can find Job in consumer electronics, telecommunications, IT, healthcare, manufacturing, mobile communication, internet technologies, and power electronics. Besides, ECE engineers are also needed in directing production processes In steel, petroleum, and chemical industry. They are also absorbed in entertainment, transmission industry, research establishments and defence establishments.

Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.It is traditionally broken into several sub-disciplines including architectural engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, geophysics, geodesy, control engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, earth science, atmospheric sciences, forensic engineering, municipal or urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, offshore engineering, quantity surveying, coastal engineering,surveying and construction engineering.

B.TECH - Mechanical Engineering

About the Course

Mechanical Engineering is an engineering discipline that involves the application of the principles of physics for analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is concerned with the design, construction, installation, commissioning and operation of industries, power stations, engines and machines. Keeping in view, the growing demand of mechanical engineering, the Institute has fully equipped Labs, ED Hall and Workshops well furnished with latest machines enabling students to gain technical knowledge under the expert supervision of the competent faculty assisted by experienced technicians.

Mechanical Department has a well maintained workshop furnished with latest machines and equipments like Lathes, Milling, Drilling, Shaper, Grinding Machines and TIG and MIG Welding Equipment etc. to cater effectively to the requirement of the courses in all the branches of engineering. The workshop is divided into various sections like Machine Shop, Carpentry and Pattern Making Shop, Foundry Shop and Welding Shop. The workshop is under the charge of experienced technicians who not only assist students in various experiments but also provide their expertise to the learners and ensure their safety.
